For
maximum quality assurance, Carolina Ice Company, Inc. operates
an in-house laboratory and tests our products daily.
We verify what we do through NSF certification of our products
and our facility. Carolina Ice Company, Inc. is an active
participant in the NSF product certification program for packaged
ice under US Food and Drug Administration, Title 21, Code
of Federal Regulations, Part 110 and Part 165 and Codex Standard
108-1981.
We further verify through The International Packaged Ice Association
quality certification assurance program.
Finally, both Federal and NC State Regulatory authorities
also inspect our facilities.

We
maintain a back up electrical generator, which is tested weekly,
and helps assure continued operation if the normal electrical
supply were interrupted.
We
maintain surplus inventory in our palletized storage facility
should it be needed.
Should our region and/or plant be devastated, we have coordinated
with suppliers outside our area to assure a continuing source
of supply.
When faced with natural disaster, 100% of our supply is distributed
through our existing customers at the regular price.

of our sales personnel is equipped with a Norand hand held
computer. Accurate accounting is important both to you and
us. Reducing errors on delivery tickets saves everyone time
and money.
